Can't nothin' hold us down! So nice to see everyone, nothing like a little chaos to celebrate Christmas! Hope everyone got home safe and Curt woke up this morning since Kathy was giving him his meds after a few cocktails!
Geez, the least you could have done was make it look like you had as miserable a day as we had. We are very glad the rest of the Brood was able to spend the day together and very sad we had to miss it, but know we were there in spirit.
PS: A word of advice from Sheila: Don't try to drown your sorrows in Snowtini's--for some reason they cause a violent bout of stomach flu.

Kath, it did end up being an okay family holiday, didn't it? AJ, I missed the whole IV thing, I was busy doing something that I can't really remember. Jeffer, I DO vaguely remember something about a speaker phone call and "We Wish You" something or other--those pretty drinks AJ made (and several I snuck in on the side) had LOTS of vodka in them. I see that I am apparently quite lucky for not upchucking after drinking like some others in the family! At least some of us can hold our liquor.
I mean, really, could you blame a Hostess for consuming large amounts of alcohol? We had toddler triplets and dogs with red booties and ovens on fire and smoke alarms blaring and I found out things about Doodsbrood members that surely would have been better left secret, and, well, let's just say we know NOW where Samantha gets her craziness from (it's NOT Lonni).
Guess what we're having for Appetizers for the Vikings/Bears game tonight? That's right...Dad's Award Winning Meatballs and Spinach Dip with "The Bread I Had To Buy For Sheila's Appetizer So They Could Come Straight To Our House From Lisbon"...Thank You Dad and Sheila!
