Thanks for the Weekend!

Here's our completed masterpiece. Of course the camera and lighting don't do it justice, it's much better in person. We can hardly wait to do another one but we'll go a little easier on the grout next time, huh Curt?
Thanks Lisa & Stan for a fun-filled holiday weekend. We know it was a lot of work, but its so nice to be around family!
A special thank you to Stan for the potato salad. Yum.

Well, sure the masterpiece is beautiful --- you used all the blue tile! And a ton of blue grout from what I could see. You beat me to it. I was going to post a picture of my lovely pot. It's ready and waiting for a nice geranium. Sorry Stephanie (or was it Brianna)about almost taking your eye out with the tile clippers. We get a little carried away in our artistic endeavors.

I'll add my thanks to the Matthews family for a wonderful holiday weekend. Chaos is a little easier to handle with some Grey Goose, right??!!

Political differences aside, I am so proud and thankful to be the eldest in this family called Dood's Brood.

Yeah, I was going to post a picture of 'my' pot, too, you know, the one that Dood, Sharon, and I made, until I saw the masterpiece, then I figured I would wait and see how Kathy's turned out. Post that picture, Kathy!

The other picture I was going to post was one of the Easter napkins and tablecloth that I found the next day up in the closet...that's right, the one that almost sent me over the edge Easter morning because I couldn't find it. Perhaps the hostess had a little too much Grey Goose the day before. Or, maybe I couldn't find it because each time I went in that room I was so distracted by the new 'twist' on window shades Dad created that I couldn't concentrate. Regardless, you all know what you'll be using next year for tableware...

Like Kathy, I am proud to be a member of Dood's Brood, and so thankful for the love in this family.

Oh,no --- signs of Grandma Z. Just don't go walking down the streets of Lakeville looking up into the trees calling, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty." I loved A.J's question after you had torn the house apart looking for the darn napkins and tablecloth: "Mom, don't take this wrong, but did you ever actually buy them??!"

Trust me Kathy it would not have surprised me at all if she just plain and simple forgot to buy them. Those damn white spots!
