Frozen fish and Tommy Schuck

A long time ago I remember running into Tommy on the streets of Nicollet town. He appeared to be bothered about a certain problem. It seems that every winter his plastic swimming pool would freeze over solid. But what really made him upset was that his dad, Frank, would occasionally give him some bullheads caught on Swan Lake--while muskratting in the fall. And, low and behold, when he put them in the pool, the fish would always be dead meat in the spring. Tommy said it took him ten years and approximately 350 bullheads to figure out that he needed to bring the fish in during winter and then release them again in the spring. I just stood there in shock and awe and said to myself, "This Tommy is a deep thinker."

Hoo Hah

Doc John, glad to see that your memory is so sharp yet!! I worked at a job today for Lonni today in the big city and it took me 2 1/2 hrs to get home, I'm glad I do not have to drive in that every day, but the next time I do, I will think of your great story. Keep us up on Zacks graduation so we keep that date open. No snow here yet tonight, hope none in the morning eather. Have you stopped smoking yet??? You really need to do that! See you guys later.

Poor Tommy really takes a beating in our family! His antics rank right up there with Mike Pope. Remember when he used to march in front of the post office for hours with his toy rifle? I'm not sure who he was guarding it against - back then it was probably the Russians. Must have been right after we had the nuclear attack drill at school. Dive under your desks with your hands over your head --- right!!!!
