Grusnt Family Website

I thought this was a website for the Grunst family. Apparently, Scott believes it is a Welcome Back, Kotter fan club from his Enduring the Weather picture post. Since when did Gabe Kaplan become a relative of ours. I too have included a picture of Gabe Kaplan to keep up with uncle Scotty. A few notes to all of those in my family. I will use John's format of writing as it has proven faster and wittier.

Curt -- Please start using spell check or stop drinking vodka before posting
Kathy -- You may have goofy teeth but you still landed Curt, not too bad
Lonni -- Hello? don't forget about your painting sidekick
Erin -- Great job on the website, although "techy chic" won't get you too much action
John -- Always hit on 16 when a dealer has face card showing
Jeff/Sheila/Gage -- Nice picture of Gage what, he can't write in cursive like my boy, Riley, is
Mom/Stan/Aj -- I only live 2 miles away, come visit or at least offer to babysit.
Grandpa -- Start a list of things you would like to say, I will come down and type them in for you sometime

On a more personal note, after another valley in the rollercoaster that is my life I am on the upswing and looking to plateau somewhere near the top. My parents have been a wonderful support system through the last debacle. I took the advice of a techy cousin of mine and started taking responsibility for my own actions. It has proved to be quite a fruitful endeavor.

Anyways, I think this website is a great way to keep in touch, just please don't forget to come and babysit. We will be having a birthday party for Riley sometime in the near future I will send invites to 2 or 3 of you as we only have room for 8 people in my shack, unless you are willing to stand on the deck all day. Riley goes in for tearduct surgery on the 18th of March. Please take a moment on the 22nd and say a prayer for son# 1 Carter, hopefully this will be the last birthday without him. Peace.

*smooch* I'm proud of you.

Did you forget my phone number? Hello! Boyfriendless. Always available to babysit.

I polled Seth and Sam on the "Gabe Kaplan Look Alike" contest, and they voted a resounding 'Yes' when I asked them if Scott looked like Gabe. Which proved to be quite a coincidence since not 30 minutes before I saw this post, we saw Johnny T. on ET Tonight promoting his new movie and I told them how in love I was with "Vinnie Babarino" in high school. I, for one, think my handsome brother leans just a wee bit toward a Barry Manilow resemblance...

Boomer, you are not the only one who needs a babysitter...these four walls are closing in on me, I need a vacation...oh, wait, geez, I guess I AM getting a vacation...let's see, yes, that's right, it's coming right up here, say in a few days or so, yessir, I guess some of us are getting away for a few days...

And, lastly, to address your prayer request for Carter on the 22nd...if it is indeed the last birthday you spend without him, well, then, just about every prayer I've uttered every night for almost two years now will have been answered. And I will know YOUR Grandma had a hand in that.

Oh, Godson of mine, it's good to hear from you. Remember you have all of Dood's Brood cheering you on. Whenever I am in the Northridge area I drive by Carter's house hoping I might catch a glimpse of him outside. Seems like just yesterday I held him in the hospital. Keep up the fight. Kisses to Riley - he will be so much more comfortable after the surgery.
